Hello ! This is Hickory !

Hickory is a charming 3-year-old male Foxhound with a sweet, bouncy nature and a love for canine company. To help him thrive, Hickory must live with a confident dog who can show him the ropes and help him settle into his new home. He is best suited to a quiet, patient household with children aged 14 or over who understand his shy but affectionate personality. Hickory has not lived in a home before, so he will need time to adjust to this new environment, including house training and gradually building up to being left alone with another dog for company. Hickory can become overwhelmed by visitors, so his new family will need to manage introductions carefully, which we are happy to advise on during the rehoming process. He will need multiple visits to form a bond with his adopters. Hickory requires a secure garden where he can practice loose-lead walking and enjoy off-lead free-running time.
